You are running a drifting practice on a drag racing night. Drag racing WILL go on while you practice your drifting. This is mainly going to be a typical drag racing wednesday night with an attempt of a drift practice at the same time.

So if the main event gets cancelled because of rain, then the drifting gets cancelled too.

It's a shame but what can you do.

They can just cancel the drag and keep the drifting. The same way at like boomers, when it rains, they shut down the go-kart attraction, and the rollercoaster (if you live by the one with it), but not the arcade

If you feel like that's a strong enough argument, then discuss it with the track owner when you are attending the next event and see what he has to say.

Comparing them to boomers, who has indoor and outdoor activities, is a very poor judgement in my opinion. But if you can manage to convince him, more power to you. I'm sure a lot of people here would not mind the rain.

Thats true , but i guess i should have said, if it rained earlyer and its still wet, but not actually raining, then it would make sense for them to still have the event as long as its not actually raining, if its just a matter of the track owner not wanting to get wet

anyways im not trying to argue with you, im just asking why they would cancel a drift event for rain

i missed the last two wasnt going to miss this one the car is on the trailer ready to go .wheels and tires jacks ,jackstands ,folding seats ,tools ezup, drinks and dinner are all in the durango.......damn damn damn
