they cancelled a DRIFT event because of rain...........are you fucking serious?

*sigh* F*ck you TJ.

It's a drag night predominantly. They are TRYING to integrate drifting into the mix. If it rains, there's no drags. If main event is over, then the new experiment of drift & drag wont happen tonight.

Put yourself in the owner's shoes. You're charging less than half out of the drifters to practice, and probably will have the same, if not less turn out from drifters than a full-out event. Oh, and you'll have zero spectators with rain.

And he'll have to sit there supervising an event under the rain. Hell, I'd stay home if I was him.

Plus, even on the drifter's side. The events have to be stopped with every rain shower that has lightning storms.... so any drift event in the rain will probably be paused for 30-60 minutes at a time.

PS: I still love/hate you.

wow, just wow... lets get this straight, both the owner and drift session are doing you guys a favor. Its drag event not a drift event, drift session convinced the owner to allow a drift clinic to be held once a month. A drift clinic aimed for you guys to get better, yet all we see is a bunch of complains from some of the people who dont show up to actual drift events. The clinic has been moved to next wednesday, so just wait one more week. I really would like to see some of you whinos trying to work those generator powered lights under a thunder storm. Erick, just give up man some of these people do not deserve explanations.
