should be next week if it stays every other week hopefully my car will be fixed enough to slide

So I spoke with hachi at the meet today regarding the upcoming skidpad event and here are some of the changes that will be taking place:

1. Due to popular demand, mainly from z33 gangsta, the starting line will be pushed back further to allow you guys to initiate earlier. This will be in effect until the track light comes out. When that happens, the starting line will be put back to the same spot as it was at the last event. Also, if traffic becomes too much of a problem, we'll have no choice but to move the starting point. So my suggestion is to get there early if you want to take advantage of the early initiation.

2. We mentioned at the previous event that we would change the track layout towards the end of the day, but obviously that didn't happen. What happened was that we saw no reason to change it. I could give you a long response as to why we didn't, but then I'd be getting off-topic. So what I'm trying to point out is that in each session, there will be 1 track layout for the whole day.

3. hachi and his crew will be packing up the tire changer between 30-60 minutes before the event ends. This is so that they can get some seat time and so they can drive home when the event ends. An announcement will be made towards the end of the event to inform everyone how long they have until the tire changer becomes unavailable.

Those were the main things as far as I could remember. Later on I'll be posting up the track layout that will be used for the next event. Don't expect it to be drastically different, because we took the last events layout and just added 2 more cones to it.

i dont see a reason for early entry when almost everybody who was there last event couldnt even do figure 8's, i think people should learn steering control before thinking about early entries, the only person who did some decent figure 8's was bladder and Tim (hachi) everyone else was struggling so instead of moving the line back, enforce some better driving....

Bring the shoe marker. And place a marking on the peoples windows who are allowed to early entry. The n00bs i wouldnt suggest it though.

i need new tires anyways so i might just get some used ones, drift the ones i have now that are bald anyways, and then when im done just put the new ones on butt.....

is the manual tire changer gonna be there also? cuz i dont feel like spending 20 bucks to change them

you cant be serious let me know when you do the manual tire change so i can die laughing watching you try

^have you ever tried to change low pros with a manual tire changer holy fuck its hard. I use to change my tires with a sledge hammer and two crowbars when i did auto X shits no joke

yes i bought one of those harbor freight tire changers, its a total bitch but im getting the technique down, just take the tire off the changer and push the sidewall as far down as you can ( i stood on it ), did it with some dunlop dz101 195-50-15s , what a bitch of a time i had to take a ganj break. good times

lmao i dont have low profiles on my 15" teardrops

but w/e obviously ill pay if i have to, but if its not to hard id rather try it with the manny one

^ if you really want a mani buy one for 39 bux at harbor freight. Im satisfied with mine. It like a mini workout.:D and you can take it anywhere desoto for example where they dont have tire changes.

im not exactly the strongest guy in the world but like how hard is it to do lol

ive never seen it doen before so i have no clue how it works

but i mean its not the end of the world to have to pay another 20
