so since the skidpad is more of a circle low speed type of thing, woujld there be anything to learn with a bone stock base model open diff 240?

i figured since the other event is 90 degree turns and some links, i should be fine with open diff, but idk about the skidpad

what do you guys think?

The skidpad is a great place to learn how to drift or feel out the car. Open diff is fine, thats how i started off 3 yrs ago...open diff drift King right here...haha

I'll tell you what, next time go and register at the gate, bring a few tires and practices donuts around a cone and even figure 8s. This will teach you everything you need to know about counter steer and throttle control. Trust me, its still fun doing donuts and figure 8s....Once you get the feel of it, register at a regular countyline event and do the actual course layout and see how you feel then!

the skid pad is great practice even for me when i want to practice left foot breaking "RED" knows the deal lol i love his car now made me love KA-T all over again had mad fun even when me and red got to working on the generators lol lazy ass track workers took way to long so fuck it we fixed it... had mad fun and il be seeing all of you at every skid pad event from now on mad fun just to help out

mad fun riding whith pablo sick driving man, learning da left braking is pretty hard but acouple of more events i think ill get it ............ tightwork!!!!!

Yeah, one of the 1st times I tried(the right way) was in the vid above. It really does let you fine tune your drifting :bigthumbu. Ahh I remember that skidpad very well.

haha ive done pretty damn good with open diff messin around with alex and chris... but it was in the rain, so id guess its way harder when its dry

Anyone willing to ride with me on the next event and give me a couple pointers?

i just got some free tires today that are in better condition than the ones i have now, so ill just drift the ones i have now, and then save up 20 some how so i can use the tire changer to put the "new" ones on for the ride home and daily driving

^ Thanks rodd. Yeah man just look for me or dodocious or bladder. Im not hard to miss. Big guy loud and always jumping in and out of the passenger seats.

First and foremost, thanks to jc performance and sfldrifters.com for putting another great practice event. Thank you to Meghz Photography for sponsoring me for this event, if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't of been there at all. Shes an angel and I am so grateful.

Turnout was great, nice seeing old and new friends!!!

Track Layout was sick mad fun

Drift lessons with dorby and drifting the s2k was sick!

Can't wait to do it again I'm sorry guys, I'll get a muffler by the next event.
