i chose to leave them bare, you can also wrap them in heavy duty tape or what not.

A rubber mallet is not hard enough of a rubber. Theres a reason they use urethane on motor mounts and other mounts, regular rubber doesnt cut it, it can't take the constant stress/heat. Hockey pucks are Urethane, this stuff is going to come apart. lol

Just did a search to see if anyone else thought of this funnyass idea.... this is posted on other forums by Emil. Noooooo take em down, take em down!

well if anyone is interested i have hockey pucks with the holes in them already hollah... no thread jacking just putting out the word

hucky pucks are cheaper and better and if you want a different option then hockey pucks i used a urithane boat roller and that worked great. You trashed two rubber mallets for motor mounts that are gonna brake.

REASONS WHY YOU FAIL
1 rubber is not a sufficiant material for a motor
2 stock mounts are 2.6 in on the left and 2.5 on the rightNOT 3
3 the studs and not straight they are offset .5 of an inch
4 when your stud bien that tall its gona be a bitch to put in

incorrect real hockey pucks NHL Legal ones are urithane not rubber. I played hockey for 10 years theres a huge difference from a practice puck which is rubber and a real puck.
