Cloverfield

I saw it on saturday night and i actually liked it a lot. Being from NYC (queens) i was familiar with a lot of the area's they were in. There were some parts when the camera was shaking and i would kinda get dizzy but the overall plot/idea of the movie i think was awesome. The whole time i was at the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. And it was one of those movies where you try to imagine what you would do if it was you in that situation. I also have a friend who's a manager so we get to see all the movies for free, but i would've not been upset to pay 10.00 to see it. I hear there are a bunch of things to look out for when they show the clips of earlier dates etc. also at the very end. I missed a bunch of it and might go see it again. :bigthumbu

-the only sucky thing is the ending leaves you wanting more and asking a lot of questions. but i hear there will be a part 2, maybe something about another video camera from other people's perspective/experience...dunno how true it is.

You can't see the monster fall out of the sky in this quality. Its even hard to see it in the movies.

I don't see the monster falling from the sky!!!!!. Is this the scene??

Not in this quality you cant. There's a splash on the far right horizon. It doesn't fall str8 down. It falls at angle like how a plane crashes in the sea. You'd have to wait til it goes to dvd/blue-ray or see the movie in theaters agains lol

NOOOOOOOOOO WHYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Oh well, I guess I will have to download it soon

You can't see it cause the quality is kinda bad, but I was one of the few in the theater to notice, I was talking with my buddy about it asking him if he saw it and people around me were like saw what? When he starts to turn the camera towards him there is a very small splash in the top right horizon, near the white boat cruising along.

I keep watching it over and over, but I just think they're just waves.

Forget it. You wont see crap in this quality. You have to have a real good eye to catch in the theaters too. It's starts from the top left side of the screen and crashes toward the right side of the horizon. There's that white flash of the camera that blocks it though so u cant see much

I SAWWWWWWWWWWW THE MONSTER CRASH INTO THE WATER!!!!!!! ........it looked like a piece of turd falling in the toilet lol it was hard to look for it but i saw it....the movie is great. bunch of clues to look for.and i hope a second part comes a long. i kno people say it sucks but i bet money that they will see the second part lol.

HAHAHA! I knew i saw something i thought it was just like the screen or like i dunno i was just....i saw it...but didnt really think of it being the monster...NICE JOB!
Sequel
Matt Reeves has expressed interest in making a sequel, to explore other people who recorded their experiences during the monster's attack. He had added the end scene where in the background something fell in the ocean to specifically hint at a future exploration of the creature's backstory .
I would hate for the sequel to be shot in handheld

you just saw it .. it has a horrible ending and its like a blare witch project movie that is someone walking around with a camera filming it

i read that its not the monster that fell into the ocean.....the monster was at the bottom of the body of water for many years in a hibernating state! what fell from the sky was a statlite which woke the monster up!

like i said i read this from a site where that JJ guy was explaining it!

Must read more info... If this is true then it should be interesting watching the second part. I just wished It didn't resemble "Blare witch" and looked more like "independence day".
