Can someone post up photos for the proper camber items for the back and front for a 92 hatch i need to buy so i wont #### up my tires ounce i lower da car. help please.

240sx comes stock with some camber adjustment if you want more adjustment you'll need camber plates for the front and rucas for the back. But camber is not the real cause of pre-mature tire wear it is toe most of the time.

Shappa is right - camber does not cause premature tire wear. The toe on the other hand will destroy your shit.

2 1/2 drop is still monster truckin. you need to be able to adjust tow more then camber i have mad toe in in the rear and it fucks tires like crazy. If your trying to drift and have no power the camber is your friend

dam i didnt kno u guys be droping ya cars like 5 inches and sh#t. toe is the way the tires face right? o and whats better lowering springs r coilovers? not those $1000plus coilovers but the coilovers that r lik 200 and go staight on the stock shocks. and i kno itl blow my shocks so il get those agxs shocks. thanx

Theres a reason the $1000 coilovers cost that. Just get a nice set of springs and agx's. Dont get ebay springs. Get brand name springs.

The only way to go lower is by getting coils. If you want to be cheap you can cut the springs, but cutting springs is not the best idea... IMO

OOooo i didnt think people spent that much money just to lower thier cars. its just hard to belive that because not every one has dat kind of money. yes i am going to be drifting so think i am going to buy those expensive ones. but what about those lowering springs with agxs? is that good enough for drifting?

You can do ok with springs and shocks, but coilovers are a much better value for the money. If you are gonna be drifting your car, then you wanna ask people with your same car what camber settings should be used. I would think that -3 degrees up front and -1.5-2 degrees in the back would work well on a 240.

Everytime you lower a car, you need to adjust you camber, caster and toe (alignment). Just find out where the closest shop that does custom aligning is to you. Before you go to get the alignment, ask people with your same or similar suspension set up for their opinion on alignment set up. Then take it to an alignment shop, and give them the specs you want on your car.

If you had a new suspension set up on an AE86 Corolla with a manual steering rack, I would recommend this :

Camber: -3.5 to -4 degrees up front. Rear camber cannot be adjusted on the rear since it's a solid axle.

Caster: +5 degrees.

Toe: 0 toe.

I don't know much about setting up a suspension for a 240, but you can ask the big names on this site about a good set up for your car.

thanx for the info. It is kinda complicated for me but ill get it. yea ders a shop full of 240s called JG autoworks by my house so il deff go to dem for my car
