Bought My First Pistola!

congrats, that's a sweet Ruger. I wasn't a fan of Glock either but they grew on me, same thing with the Beretta 92FS and revolvers like the Ruger SP-101, never really liked them before but I don't know what it is recently a lot of different guns that I didn't like before I started to really like.

thanks, I like glocks - shot a few different ones - but this ruger for the price compared to glock was a no-brainer even @ msrp

yeah true, Pancho's Ruger was a steal and that thing is dead accurate, but not as easily concealable as yours. We should go shooting one day. I would love to see how yours shoots compared to Pancho's Ruger 9mm and XD .40 and my new piece that I will have hopefully soon which is also a 9mm.

If you don't already know of a good range I HIGHLY recommend Pembroke Gun & Range (formerly American Gun Range) on Pembroke Rd and I-95. They are very cool, decent price, not as strict as other ranges, and they have some nice guns to rent if you want to try something else (AK and AR15 too)

I've seen 9mm and .40 at Walmart ONCE lol and never seen .45 there. I check every time I go but I don't really go there that often, maybe once or twice a month.

I usually hit up BIG AL's on Hallandale West of I-95 - But id shoot down to Pembroke if u guys wanna meet up some time and shoot off a few rounds

I've never been to Big Al's but every time I bring someone to Pembroke they like it better and say it's a little cheaper. I hear Big Al's has A LOT of shit to rent though, I wanna check em out sometime.

I saw the 9mm at the Walmart on Griffin and Flamingo, but that was one time. I'm not sure how often they stock but you could always ask them when they might have a new shipment coming in.

Picked up the gun this saturday. Needless to say I was pretty happy with my purchase. Very accurate and easy to shoot even for a beginner like myself. Ran 200 rounds thru it so far - had a few hiccups that I read is just break in stuff nothing major

I was looking at the GALCO holsters yesterday on the ruger site - like the look of em Im just not sure if I wanna go with an OWB holster for concealing purposes. Got any pics of urs?
 
eh not on me but ill get some later tonight and post tom. the GALCO is in waist the black hawk is out i like the safety of the black hawk but the galco is more conceald IMHO but its all up to you and what feels right on you.. also your clothes means alot too.
