i dont want to take on the whole forum (98% of it) but as for the s14 guy, damn i don't know where that comment came from. the fact that its easier to drift doest make it better handling, makes it terrible at it 'cuase it rather oversteer. take it to the track, i'll wait for the new thread.

leave the dark side man, i've been preaching for years now on how them s-nissans are so inferior. look into the 330i (2/4dr) if you can't afford the ///M. i so want a ci in silver, m package, lip spoiler black tints :ugh:
....went to the ft.laudy bmw but they wanted 32k for one

There really is no point to argue about it because no matter how much factual info is thrown into the arguement, one side always takes it wrong because they don't understand enough about the topic. It's like argueing with a toilet bowl.
 
lol damn look what i started .....i just wanted to know some infor on bmw because i dont know the differences between the models i wasnt saying nissan is better or worse i was just stating i like the way bmw's feel more....they feel solid stock and handle nice and are comfortable from the E-30's up only thing thats kept me away is the cheapness of the 240sx....but that might have to change soon:D im gonna find a way but im probably gonna end up with a BMW soon:bigthumbu we'll unless i get my sil80 back then i might keep it for a while to actually enjoy the RHD and if i get a good offer bmw is my next option:bigthumbu.....
 
yo guillermo (sorry if i spelled you name wrong) what E30 did you say was a goos starting platform again??? im gonna start looking form there and work my way up till i find the model and year i like

thats what im saying, stubborn people will be stubborn. and of course bmw is better since they once made german war planes in the past, and you know how thoughs nazis were so picky having only wanting one race in the world and all.(not agreeing with their idea. all though many of you might think i do.)

I would say a 89+ 325is would be a great platform to start with or a E36 325is or 328is

I personally like the coupes alot more than the 4drs so thats why i say "is"
 
what categories are these cars put into to be compared. or even come close.

you have a 2 door car tailored to fit a secretary and then you have the ultimate driving machine.

bmw thrives on performance, and they have the best handling cars even over 100k+ cars. thats been tested and proven. im a nissan guy but BMW>NISSAN when it comes to performance.

now if you wanna say reliable and cheap parts whenever something breaks daily workhorse then you'll have nissan>bmw. <-- and even thats too broad, cuz in most peoples mind they are comparing 240'sx to every model bmw makes, and bmw got some bad bitches, sooo...

ps. im pretty sure this wouldn't even be a nissan bimmer debate if drifting was never born, cuz in all honesty most people didn't know about 240's before that
