So you are telling me Pres. Bush loves this country, Pres. Clinton loved this country, Pres. Bush Sr. Loved this country, Pres.Nixon Loved this country.... Uhm i dont think so buddy.... Patriotism is pretty mush dead, money and self interest comes ahead of everything.... Ask 100 americans who was the master mind of the 911 attacks and a good amount of them will say they dont know or blame Hussain. Americans do not know why we are fighting a war. How many senators and congressmen have their offsprings fighting in Iraq? The running for presidency is not about love for your country anymore. It has not being that way for many decades. What they love is the power that comes from bing in charge, even when you are in charge of something minimal like a car club, you have power... and with power comes a lot of free stuff and hookups..lol... So imagine all the free stuff Pres. Bush gets ;) lol..... that power is what all this new idiots want. Humans are very selfish, it has been proven hence why communism doesnt work...lol

Communism doesn't work because humans are selfish? I disagree. Communism doesn't work because incentive to work plumits (because whether you work 10hours or 100hours you get same pay as everyone) and there is no say on how the country is being ran.
 
Well so what type of government you thinks works? I think democracy is great. I mean yea politics is a sensitive subject and it is dirty but isn't everything else? look at cops in neighborhoods. Point is that if you think they don't love their country why would they want to run for President in the first place?

Good point:
1) because it failed to serve the people. You're right in that communism itself has everyone "sharing the wealth", but in reality it didn't happen. (SELFISHNESS)

2) Already stated: dictatorial leaders. The Russian communist rule started with bloody roots. Many times fear was what kept the people in line (ex: Stalin). Eventaully, a point was reached where the menace ruling wasn't quite as menacing anymore.

3) Corruption of the leaders. I would imagine at some point, the communist leaders were as disliked as the intelligentsia was to the proletariat in pre-communist Russia. They became unreliable and untrustworthy to the mass populace.

4) von Mises' theory (1920) that communism couldn't succeed because "it had abolished free markets so that officials had no market prices to guide them in planning production...Every step that takes us away from private ownership of the means of production and from the use of money also takes us away from rational economics"


I never stated that democracy does not work, neither i questioned what type of government works... All i said is that politicians are selfish and untrue, but what human being is not???

And I agree completely with the power makes people greedy thing... its just sad that you cant hardly trust anyone with that kind of responsibility. Once again sorry for the confusion

i was watching the news last night and it was the NH conference er whatever. i actually liked obama talking until i saw that picture.

that is the most fucked up thing in the world. to run for president there are a few things you have to be.

1. at least 35 years old
2. a U.S born citizen.

since i started school we have been saluting the flag since pre-school, every damn morning. that picture pisses me off because obama if is he qualified the run should have had that shit ingrained into his system. how hard is it to put your right hand over your heart. unless he didnt believe the "under God" and thought that it was disrespecting his religion. omg. who cares. this is not what you believe in this is what is best for a nation.
putting your best interests first before a nation as strong and big as the U.S. that's saying something about a man's character. i dont care who did that. if hilary did that i'd say the same thing. if huckabee did that i'd say the same thing.

John Kerry did go to and didnt buy his purple heart from a pawn shop cmon what kind of crap is that, those are the words of dirty politicians....and its true many generations have past and we havent had a single true president that was 100% for the nation to be at peace and live without political worries but if one came close i say it would be George Washinton ehhh, but the best so far was Theodore Roosevelt because Lincoln was good, but he was only for the good of the union, he even said that if it was for the good of the union not to end slavery then thats what he would do...........ooo snap got a lil caried away lol but if Mias13 was president he'd be the best one lol!!!
