No VH weighs more they're iron block. If VH was aluminum block everyone would have one.

The VH series consists of 4.1 and 4.5 liter engines built from 1989-2001 by the Nissan Motor Corporation. The design consists of a 90 degree V8 with an aluminum cylinder block that features a closed upper deck and a deep skirt

what was that Sal?

vh IS aluminum and everyone should have one

and yeah its prolly the same weight if not less. and make can make right near 300 whp w mods NA, plus dirt cheap $300-$500 at local junkyard complete and you use a z32 trans, which is a god trans, yes i meant god not good. Another option for you would be a VQ35de, 350z engine but thats going to be mose expensive but it'll make 300 w mods also and its v6. your call.

go with VH, you know most were proly not beat on from junkyards cause its a big bodied car that most people that bought and owned inifitis probably did nothing with their life. I dont see a VH as being expensive because its not coming from a sports car where everyone theoretically demands more aka costing more money. i vote to go VH buddy, those parts should be available at autozone as well
