I didn't shoot the wedding, I just kinda brought my camera for fun and studied the photographers for future reference =]

those ass hats kept getting in the way of my pictures at the actual wedding though >=[

the photographers there had no lighting equipment, maybe one strobe that they used for the dancing for like 10 minutes but the rest of the time just on camera flashes, one guy was using the gary fong light sphere and teh other a bounce card

and they were shooting Canon

i mean lighting, like what certain lights cast, how how they change colors, the wedding photographer i work with uses SB's with gels to get the white balance correct. and dont reply with "photoshop" lol
when you shoot a wedding you really don't have the time do edit pictures, and it really depends on the bride and grooms decision.

yeah I understand about the gels and what not, I've read a lot of material on lighting and still reading more, even got a few books on it

Awesome pics Fal, any more?

I have more but I took a lot of personal pics, mostly just pictures of family and friends just hanging out, eating, etc. these were the three I thought would be best to post because they are pretty general and represent the wedding best. I wish I would have gotten some inside the church (beautiful church in Miami beach) but really couldn't with the hired photographers getting in the way

Horrible if you need some pointers lmk.

maybe we can go shooting one day and you can give me some pointers =]

The candid shot is great.

The her dress is a bit to bright. You lost the detail in alot of it.

The 3rd my eye is drawn to the food.

Zack most weddings it usually takes the bride/groom forever to get back to you on which pictures you want. After they do, I tell them I'll get their pictures to them in about 2-3 weeks depending on how many they want in their package. I see nothing wrong with shooting in raw and not worring about your wb. One less thing to worry about on a stressful day when you have to be in more than one place at once.

yeah Zack so stfu...

hey hey I'm not trying to start a fight. Some photogs do things differently. Only way I could see you being under alot of pressure to get your pictures done quickly would be if you shoot alot of weddings, but even when I shot weddings every weekend it wasn't bad because the b/g always took forever to get back to you.

Yeah that usually takes some time too, but I typically take alteast 500 pictures at a wedding/reception. The most I've taken was around 800. I go and take out shots that are blurry but that's typically only 3-4 at the most. So they have alot to go thru.
