2011 FormulaD Rule book is done

WHAT????? That's fucking crazy! My car would be a JOKE on 235s and look goofy! HAHA. They should definitely weigh the cars with driver though, like most racing series do. I'm excited though for some reason. Should be pretty interesting.

yea this rule is stupid i think. the sizes are way too small and dont take into account the compounds actual grip.

That's why you gotta run sticky tires son! Yeah I think the width changes are a little too drastic. Like a 235 should probably be at the light end, and maybe keep the 335 at the heavy end. So a 2300lb car can still run a 255 or so.

I think this is gonna be fun to watch though. Unless the speed difference is actually noticeable from a spectators point of view, but it's drifting, so probably not.
 
this serves to even out maximum potential acceleration regardless of weight. though cars with weight distribution towards the back will generally still have a slight advantage.
