Alright so heres the new deal motor got put back together, all sealed up and boom no start no idea why Do a compression test and now I have no compression in all 4 cylinders as in ZERO, none, nil Sounds to me like bent valves?

Yea It looks right as far as markings, but I can see one of the lobes slightly pointed upwards.. I'm not exactly sure how to fix that... I guess set it at tdc on the crank, take the cams out and redo the whole deal? Still.. It doesnt look like something that would blow all four rocker arms...

Jeezus! ^^ lots of good info.. I just cranked my motor over by hand a bazillion times by hand and got the marks on the cam gears to line up with the links of the timing chain, motor is at tdc.. but it seems a little loose in one section.. is it still possible there is a skipped tooth in there...

LOL another one of these, so I rebuilt my SR, went to do the initial start up, and this happened, I cranked it over by hand before I started it and nothing strange happened then, so what could this be all about? I can't see any damage to the valves, but then again I havent taken the head off...

Lol fuck that my dad used to be a machinist before he was an engineer I'm gonna see what he can do. Dear god lol aint nobody got time for that :boring:

Long story short.. buddy of mine took the head off my SR about a week ago, he turned it upside down and all the shims and guides fell out. Took it to the machine shop to get it decked.. Got back home and realized what had been done. What do I do. I hear multiple things so please don't throw...

Get an S14 SR because people sell them for less, if you want a 6 speed go buy a used 350z trans, slap a big boy turbo on and roll out. My friend has an S15, guess how many gears he has in it? 5, the 6 speed is taking up space in the corner lol
