Ryan Tuerck along with six others (all drivers eligible for the 2012 championship) were sent to a x-ray machine  where scans were conducted of the cars with film. The technical staff led by Kevin Wells is investigating if any of the cars have placed illegal ballast in the car focused mostly on the frame rails themselves. Tomorrow will bring official word if they found anyone running illegal weights.  If weight is found the driver will be disqualified for this weekend at Irwindale Speedway and eliminated from winning the championship.

This is all hype. FD is allowing Wrecked to report this so that FD looks like they aren't biased and that they want a fair championship. If Gittin was caught with an illegal balast, they wouldn't report it to anyone, and let him slide.
 
How can you guys take Wrecked serious?

And what exactly do you mean by illegal ballasts?

They call the big dog teams on shit sometimes. The big dog teams have so much money, they can fix any situation usually.
Disqualifying from the weekend is kinda gnarly though.
 
Well it is a race competition, with rules! If you break those rules, hence illegal ballast! You get disqualified!

Well, you are there all the time, so I hope you are correct sir. But FD needs to be careful disqualifying the Fords, because that is FD's title sponsor next season. lol.
