Xdc or fd pro-am cage requirements?

I'm doing a cage in my car soon and want to see what type of piping I needed to get. I searched. It couldn't really find anything. I've heard the word Dom piping passed around but have no clue what that means lol. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks guys!

1.5" x 0.095" DOM is what you need for Formula D. Also, it's tubing. Pipe isn't the same thing.

it depends on the weight of the car

Yeah you can have bigger if your car is heavy and you want to road race or something, but for Formula D, 1.5" works for every car.

The car is an sc400. I would have a build thread if I wasn't restricted to only my iPhone lol. Car is prob going to weigh close to 3200 realistically. So I should shoot for 1 3/4?

1.5 is fine but it may have to be 120 wall due to weight read the book.
