ok so my brakes dont really work, i pump them and they build pressure but it causes the car to studder. as soon as i finish pumping them it loses pressure again. ive bled the brakes. switched the master cylinder and then bled them again. someone said they think my calipers are upside down but im fairly certain thats impossible. should i bench bleed the master cylinder!

you should always bench bleed the master when you put it in.. bleeder screw should always be on top (if im not mistaken) check if you calipers are seized or not working properly. turn your car off press the brake as hard as you can and turn the car on..if you dont feel the brake move feather down you booster is bad...

exactly, make sure bleeder valve on brakes at the top. if not then they are not getting all the air out. only thing i can think of

check the vacuum line and check valve going to the booster its probably leaking, if not the booster went bad

vacuum line and check valve are good. ill switch the calipers tomorrow. i tried compressing my brakes, shutting off the car and then compressing them in more but it didnt work. guessing that means i get to swap my brake booster too? i also have another problem... i have power steering hooked up and im not seeing any leaks but i dont have power steering either... thoughts?

your doing it backwards ..turn your car off press the brake then turn the car on

if your car sputters when braskes are applied you deffinately have a vaccume loss when applying the brakes and is most likely caused by the booster being bad
