hey guys, i was just throwing this idea around if it is even possible to tow a 240 with another 240. i would think give the KA a little more power, upgrade the brakes, weld on a tow hitch and reinforce the sub frame to mimic a trucks frame. i know the KA has the power and i think it would be awesome to see a 240 lugging around a trailered 240. does anybody think i could be done, like how exacly would i reinforce the frame to take the stress?

I have towed a friend of mines 240 with mine, but not on a trailer. We used a car dolley, shit worked just fine for the 100 miles we towed it.

We used that same setup, but minus the truck.

iv been towed by zacks jeep like 5 times lol

and if u pass a cop a piece of shit 240 towing a nother piece of shit 240 you will be more than likley to get pulled over than a jeep towing a 240
either way im pretty shure its illegal without a trailer and hitch

As long as you are using a tow bar, you don't need a trailer. I use mine to tow stuff all the time.

they make hitches for the s14. i wouldnt tow with a 240 though. ive pulled my buddy's integra and s13 with my s13 and s14 once and you can do it but the clutch doesnt like it one bit. youre better off towing with a hard body, tacoma, 4 runner, ranger, or s10

Ive towed a 240 with my 240 when I had my rear bumper support on.

Ive had my 240 towed by a SOHC hardbody too lmao.

Yes it is possible to tow strap another 240 with a 240 maybe even a car dolly, but he said he wants to tow a trailered 240, so if he is talking about a full flat bed trailer with a 240 on GL

My s14 does have a v8 and stiff enough suspension to probably tow a real trailer. But cant see it being very logical.
