problem with driveshaft

well i just did a 5 speed swap for my buddy on his s14 and he had bought a one piece steel drive shaft from FRsport.com.

well turns out the drive shaft was about half an inch too long i got it to go in but it was grinding on the transmission.

anyway his car is stock un-touched no abs he got the right part number and everything but just dont fit, now FR Sport is giving him bs he may not be able to return it

he needed the car so he went to some 240 junk yard place and they raped him with a $190 factory driveshaft nut he had no choice and that one was perfect, we measured both DS and the one piece one was almost and inch longer then the stock shaft.

its a Driveshaft shop drive shaft anyone ever had this problem where it was too long? what should i do should i threaten them with the BBB if they dont want to help my friend?

if they work wasnt done by a shop most of the time theyll probably give you shit for it, but if you bought the driveshaft and you had a professional shop do it then they should take it back no problems, thats if the piece came with warranty

Its prolly a s13 shaft. Damn i have a s14 shaft for $100

it cant be a s13 shaft cause s13 shafts are shorter then s14 shafts so it couldnt be too long on a s14.

also the part number is correct on the box its just the actual shaft is too long.

they asked for pictures he emailed them today so were going to try to contact them on monday again
