so i want my new project to be a mx83 cressida. i had one a little bit ago but i sold it to build my sr BIG MISTAKE.
so here are the plans

buy x3
buy coils
7mgte swap with headgasket and arp studs
welded diff
exaust

i want to go 7m because its cheaper and i like them and i dont care what people think just please no negative comments just need some ideas and if it would be a pretty good slideing car.

do itand buy a suspension bushing kit cause cressida's are old as helland the bushings are fucked. do what you want, cressida's are awsome cars, seeing them on the street is sick better yet seeing them sideways.

nobody here can give you good advice, cuz nobody here slides them...

dont listen to that, 240's are old as hell what do bushings have to do with a good drift car. hes got more important things to worry about like fabbing his own spindles for the coilovers, not just a bolt up like 240s... steering angle (im not sure but i cant really imagine it being more than a 240) heavy as a muffucka... not to mention 7m's suck... honestly go on jzxproject.com and do some reading!

cressidas are older, and bushings have a huge impact on how the car drives.

Really? How can you ask a dumb question like that?

cressidas are great drift cars but if i were you i would look into a 1jz or 2jz engine swap, the 7m engines are known for blowing head gaskets

S13s are just as old as some cress's but bushings go without saying and I'm not saying that bushings aren't important. Saying that he's got way more imprtant things to do than worry about bushings that's all. For cress's you are going to need fab skills don't get what I said misconstrewed. (Check spelling)

a x3 is like a mx73 or mx83 and i don't know what to do im trying to sell my car for 3500 witch is cheap as hell for my car. i just want a cressida like my old one and do alot to it.

another thing i cant afford a jz engine it sucks i would kill to have one but i heard that i can get 7m's cheap.

well on craigslist u can get an mx73 for around 800 witch would leave u with 2700 and im pretty sure u can find 1jz's for around 2500. that leaves u with 200 extra for any miscellaneous things. if u save up some money u could do it but it would be on a tight budget..
if you go the 7m way it will be cheaper in the beginning but if you run the engines hard you are going to go through headgaskets like water...

btw this is all from research so just take my advise as a suggestion...

this is true i just need to find someone to buy my car im actually selling it really cheap. i mean 3800 obo for a running sr'd s13 coupe with suspension and other mods.
