KA-T wont start off starter only push start?

Ok guys hopfully someone has some insight cus nobody else does.
I just put the turbo on my car a week ago. its all stock ive got it held at 3 psi boost. ive drove around a week now problem free and driving very easy while ordering parts slowly. now last night i drove home from work fine it started perfect came home got a shower car sat for about 30 mins went outside to leave and it just turned over seemed like it wonted to start just couldnt quite do it. then i ad my friend pull start me and it runs fine ????? now im puzzled i tried a new fuel pump a bigger cranking amp battery its getting spark while turning over.. im completly lost. it runs like a champ but will not start itself it has to be push or pull started?? please someone help me.
 
The same exact thing happened to me a while back, it would crank not start all day, was getting it towed and trying to push start it while getting towed finally after like 20 tries it started and I never had the problem again, wish I could help you, maybe it'll just start working again lol
 
hmm, i had something like this happen to me once.. make sure the wires on the clutch pedal for the starter are making full contact
 
its completely in the fuel delivery....my coupe had the exact same problem, however i heard valve noises, leading me to believe, as per the fsm, that since the exhaust valve was closed, or stuck closed it wouldnt allow the car to receive the fuel needed to combust, because, if like me, ur car flooded and u could smell gasoline, then 1 the fuel pump works fine, 2 the injectors might also be str8 (even tho full throttle cuts off impluse to injectors when trying to WOT start), but 3 its mostly mechanical, clean ur cylinder head, change the valves and guides, and enjoy; if its not ur valves, then just sell the car and go vip lol...youll instantly get women and it wont be embarrasing push starting ur carro everywhere like i used to.... and i mean everywhere, i used to park in BC parking garage along the slope just so i could back out and let the inertia from rolling downward give me enough momentum to turn the car into the on position and put it first and let the car manually start without the gas pedal......

also try that more often when push starting, that way the car starts more under its own power rather than u flooding it, by cranking and depressing the gas pedal(if it be the case)

i fixed that
problem.the noise you heard was the timing chain.replaced it and its quiet now.and the fuel thing was actually the ignition coil and the battery you had was going bad.
 
pull injector and rail and see if there leaking thats what it sounds like to me. If you push start or pull start its turned enough times to clear the cyclinders or excess fuel. Does it crank slow or normall?
 
happend to me on a car i was working on get the bat tested cuz when u are cranking it it takes a lot of power from the bat and takes it away from everything else and wont give fule of spark
 
my friends car doesnt start but you push it like stupid slow and and pop the clutch and turn the key and it will turn over and start. its his starter solonoid if that helps.

if you listen and see if the fuel pump is turning on. if it is. take the fuel rail off and turn the car over and see if its squirting the injectors.
