yeah Jeff Jones' entry on his lead run was almost as bad as Sam straightening. For real, but I still think he should've probably won. If he was someone with a more popular name he would've won. So moral of the story: Get rich and popular, then drift.

thats pretty lame. every other drifting series just counts as lack of points.

I was actually FURIOUS when 2006 mid-ohio I had to go OMT against a drive who SPUN INTO THE GRASS during a run when we battled... a SPIN and OFF COURSE and USDrift scored it still scored it. this happened in 2 seperate battles! it was silly. One I followed Vosko and said, oh fuck he is in my way and hit the brakes and spun into grass after him... other Doug Van De Brink in his turbo mustang couldnt handle my ish and spun himself off ALMOST into the wall!
they said "with the typical driver we see, there would be too many zeros, so we scroed the remainder of the run they completed."
*bonus: it was a qualifier for FD ProAm Finals! shouldn't we expect no spins at that kind of event?

i do have a little issue with straightening, but it was a HUGE uphill in 3rd gear. many of us were about equal skill and continue to see these guys in NOPI, D1, and now FD for some. Oh yea I also didnt even have an ebrake cable in the car lol.

i understand that patty cakes, thats the last thing any of us want to do. but i just dont understand why it would be a zero, its just a sure win for the other driver.
