what about the width of the wheels? a 9" +15 isnt the same as a 8"+15. either way its wahtever, its not that the drivin isnt 'good' its that you could be faster in the drift with more tire, and in tandem itll show if the other guy is using 'proper' tires.

The wheels are 9.5


I think i got what i deserved, all top three did have cleaner runs then i did, I had a few problems and minor errors that the judges saw, its just part of drifting. Its also not about winning but about having fun right? Either way I had a blast the whole weekend.
 
I was at the event, and I thought you did very well. You were smoking the shit out of the tires and you had nice angle. A little work on your lines and some wider tires, and you are set.

yea i dont know what you got or anything about the event. but yea 9.5 +15 you would probably rub without at least a fender pull. go get those overs or pull them. practice with more proper tires and you'll like the better confidence youll feel from the added grip

you also have 245s all the way around on a miata. You must be magic. Also, I ran 275-40s on my FC with no overs. You know what they say about big tires?
