lsd into open diff.

ok so getting an os giken lsd soon. what do i need 2 put it in my s14 currently open diff. beside the bearings, oil seals, and fluid? thanks people

Wow OS giken is a baller as hell diff, I want one for my E36 but its like 1700 bucks.

new bearings and seals, new ring gear bolts wouldn't hurt either

i see. dont they offer a torsen unit? the os giken is a stiff 2 way right? i figured torsen is the best for road race.

why would you buy a diff if you dont know what you need to install it lol

anyway, if it's new it should come with everything you need if it's for the right model differential you have. (different shafts between lsd and open) so provided you got the right one, its just open case, unbolt like 16 bolts or something, pull the halfshafts out, bolt the stuff to the new diff, slide half shafts back in and go do a donut and figure 8
