I was wondering what spark plugs you guys are running in your sr20det. I am running ngk's bkr6e and was told that its too hot, and instead should run bkr7e opinions plz:bigthumbu

lol typO. i thought i had already fixed it. 7's for sure? I just came from pepboys and got iridium bkr7e IX and am going to switch my 6's for 7's. Any other opinions plz!
 
nope, 6s are ok, 7s are safer. make sure you lower the gap to like 0.025 or else itll sputter and shit under boost
 
I've always ran bkr7e's. Just plain ol bkr7e's. No iridium or any of that bullshit. Just normal plain jane run of the mill bkr7e's gapped to like .024

Bro, 30 is a huge gap.

How boost do you run and what turbo?

I used to run .028 on my t25 running like 14 PSI, and anything bigger would blow the spark out. On my 2871 setup on 22 psi, I would have to run .024 or smaller.
