FC- F**ked Car

Ok guys you know I have to jump in as stupid as it may sound check your engine oil level I know many rookies at rotarys over look there oil and once it's empty it just won't crank

So today started with a nice ltm day at school, washed the car and what not, after school went to fill my baby up before i went to the thursday night hooters meet up on PBL,she was on e, (so hyped) so after i get done filling up, she wont turn over. Battery is fine, but im having a hard time trouble shooting. I might think its my fuel pump being claugged, my timing belt has gone bad, or my coils.

Any suggestions?

thanks alot guys:bigthumbu

if its not trying to start its not your fp, check your relays and describe it better, if it cranks but won't start may be flooded, if the afm was unhooked it would start and die, test the fp by pulling the send line and turning key to on, if nothin comes out try and jumper it @the yellow connecter near your pass strut tower and listen if its turning on test your coils buy puillin a leading plug+wire and placing it near a fender while cranking, you should see an arc

put some atf in through the sparkplug holes, like a teaspoon.

don't use atf, use 2 cycle it will build compression without eating coolant seals.

did all trouble shoots, i have spark, im getting fuel, and have compression, anyone know a good rotary mechanic?

i would check your pistons, there could be something wrong with them

in rotaries the pistons always go bad

lol damn haters yo.... re's are a pain unless your very well knowledge'd and what not.

alex is right, pull the egi fuse from the bay and crank it over a few times without killing the starter then plug the fuse in and she should start

btw is it a t2?

i suggest a switch and fuel pump relay mod to keep that from happening

clean out the pump with brake cleaner

it happen to my old hatch cause i ran on low gas "below E"

-2 cans of brake cleaner
-injecter cleaner

make sure u clean the whole pump

i was there to help him with it today, not a t2. we checked the plugs they were bone dry so its not flooded.its getting spark, we sprayed gas w/premix in through the throttle body and cranked, still nothing, not even sputter. we dont know what the heck is wrong so we gave up. i knew a rotary freak and he's gonna take a look at it tuesday, he thinks it might be the ecu and he's got a few lying a round so we're gonna try plugging the bish in.

p.s. aye dylan you gave me 10 more dollars than i needed for driving you around.
i think i'll pay you back by buying you $10 worth of CUPCAKES but i dont know where a i can find a CUPCAKE STORE. you seem like a CUPCAKE kind of guy do you know where i can find some?;)

is fuel getting to the rail? if fuel is getting to the rail but injectors won't spray check ecu and cas wiring

fuel was getting to the rail but we have yet to verify fuel pressure. when we cranked the motor with the spark plugs out we definitely smelled fuel but i could almost swear it was less fuel than my old fc. cas was hooked up and plus the spark plugs fired, they wouldnt fired if it wasnt getting a signal from the cas.
