yes Dan, its a given that if:
You require less money to participate = more people will show.

But to have a series that anyone cares about or can get better in, it needs to be tandem. to be tandem, and legal, it has to have the insurance. insurance has rules.

I've judged tandem and solo competitions. Solo comps are pretty boring and hard to decide when drivers are evenly matched.
