I was there! Its a amazing place where they meet up and drift. When the cops came we just left, it was a game of cat and mouse. We go to a new spot about a hour later the cops would come. We did this for at least 6 hours. Im sad to see this happen I wonder what they would do to a american watching. I have video of the street drifting and the cops. Just no time to edit it all. One of the cars blew a intercooler pipe and we stoped and helped outm, the cop pulled right next to us. He didnt get out just let us finish with the car then we left. By the way this wasnt in the mountains. Some guys we talked to only drift in the mountains while others only drift the streets. Its a crazy scene they have there most of the guys do it as a way of life. All their money goes to their car no matter what. They dont care about goin to events or getting a trophy its all about drifting. The street is where it is at in Japan to be known on the streets. Thats what I got from the guys I talked to there. Hopefully one day I will get the video done and post it up.
