kade not making power/poor throttle response. help?

wouldn't stop it from going past 2k rpms... It would just run at full fuel psi which it does anyways at WOT.

He didn't say it won't go over 2000 rpm. Just that it revs slow, basically.

There are so many potentials, it's just something small keep looking.

lol why do ppl keep saying MAFS lmao wtf i really hope none of you are mechanics in real life

do a compression test and see what the numbers look like.. sounds slow to me lol

lol why do ppl keep saying MAFS?

Because a maf sensor measures the amount of incoming air and if its bad, the ecu will follow the pre determined maf curve table regardless of the corrupted signal being sent from the maf. So, if the maf is reading (x) amount of air flow when in fact the atmosphere is pushing (y) amount of air into the motor, the ecu will only deliver (x) amount of fuel as opposed to the (y) amount needed to allow his vehicle to run properly, thus causing erratic idle, lack of power, and not being able to rev out like it should. Now I'm not saying that this is in fact whats causing his problem, but it is a possibility.

And btw, yes i am a mechanic, yes i am ASE certified in advanced engine management And I work for one of the largest tuning companies in the world.

put my maf on his motor, and its still the same, ill try the dist turning back and forth, and well go over the timing once again.
ill let you know the outcome later tonight.

thanks everyone!
