Why own the EOS 5D Mark II?

This vid was shot with the EOS 5D Mark II. I'm probably late on this but I went to the Canon website to see whats the hype on the camera. I wanted a HD video camera and also a DSLR. This just killed it and I'm a Nikon guy. I'm trying to sell my gear now to pick this up.

Yea and that frist video was edited as you see it but the quality wasnt touched it came off the camera just like that which was crazy to me.

2) Are you serious? you go to canon to see how good the video is? granted it is good, but that short was made by professionals, you will not get video anything close to that with out the knowledge they have. I saw a sample on Nikons site for the D90 video and it looked fucking spectacular, when I saw real clips of D90s used by regular people they sucked ass. Same with 5DmkII, its cool you can make a video that great with it, but its also kind of misleading for the regular consumer.
