does any one here own a boat? or your parents own a boat? im thinking about buying one. just had a couple of things i was wondering about.
I.E where do you take your engine to get fixed? do you do your own maint? etc...
i worked at riva motorsports.. and thats where most of the ppl took their boats... bt then again if ur very mechanically inclines u can probably do it ur self..
thats what i was thinking. but then again. i dont wanna mess anything up and it cost even more money.lol
yea what type of boat? seadoo? what year? just to give u the heads up.. maint. alone is very expensive.
dont get a seadoo unless you got the $$$$. they are fun but WOW the price psshh...
since you like fishing pick up a center console, around 17-18 feet is great for small parties, if you want more people you are looking into getting a 22-27 foot to hold from 6 to 8 people safely, our friend has a 27ft that holds up to 14 people lol but i dont advise it it was way too crowded.
there are lots of different kinds of boats, alot of the boaters where i work and donnie included like the v-hull, flats are ok, if you are just going inshore, if its offshore i suggest getting a bit bigger of a boat like 22ft or bigger to go offshore, get a very good motor, nothing under 125hp on a 20ft or bigger, and make sure your blige pump can handle the size of your boat, one of our boston whaler wet slip renters didnt have a strong enough blige and his boat almost sank.![]()
well, i think, you should visit me and ill take you to my work. lol
i might.. i wanted a boston whaler.. but donnie talked me out of it.. i would love a 23ft grady white.. im gonna have to start looking soon insurance money is coming lol..
ROB???? where does the helicopter land?
My kayak is really a transformer. At the flip of a switch it turns into a Yacht.
One time I hit the switch in the wrong place and this happened. Unfortunately the batteries died at the same time and I couldn't get it to transform back.
