"trying" to drift(noob)

Problem is that you won't learn much about drifting a RWD powersliding on a FWD, but that's pretty good control.

trust me i know.. but shit thats all i been thinkin about and i dont have a rwd car to do it in YET so might as well try to learn some counter steering work atleast... but i kno its not drifting its power sliding i aint trying to make it pass as drifting..

i do have my sisters 98 pontiac firebird automatic though.. no lsd .. is it still possible to learn without an lsd..

but since it is automatic when when i pull the e-brake will anything get messed up?

exactly what i ment i though ud been flammed

no reason to.. i didnt say i can drift.. i dont think i can... i really want to get into it but as of right now i dont have a car to do it with.. so just havin fun with what i have.. thats what its about

fun is fun, theres some good things about FWD but I've always preferred RWD........duh, Open diff driftin is a challenge; understeer! understeer!! understeer!!!

actually thats pretty good. I've tried sliding fwd's just for shits and giggles (mostly rentals) and never pulled off anything that smooth

the srt's are just really light in the back end.. i hear if u have a flat tire back there you wouldnt even feel it.. the srt's virtually just have no weight back there

if i try to drift in an automatic is it safe to pull the e-brake while its in gear
