KA24de lifters??

Ok so i've read on many forums that the ka24de comes with hydraulic lifters but i posted a WTB section here and some users claim that this engine doesnt come with them...so just kill my misunderstanding for me..do they come with lifters or not? lol

ok so whats the final verdict does the ka24de dohc have lifters? i need to know to see if i have to change them or not
 
You need to know if it has lifters just so you can change them? Wish I could solve my problems like that. If you have a knocking is probably the shim guide thing for your timing chain. That's a common thing on the DOHC because it's plastic or something brittle like that. If you want to figure it out I have that engine sitting in my living room and we can take it apart so you can see what you need to do.
 
yeah dude if we can do that itll be awesome. ill give u some cash for w.e. parts ill need....when can we do that?
 
I can't do timing dude. You have to find someone that can. I can show you what it is but I have no experience. Lot of book knowledge, not enough wrench time to fuck around with your daily.

Let me know, we can pull the exhaust cam off my KA.
 
i was talking about we can take apart ur extra engine that u have and if i need the timing chain or anything ill give u cash for those parts...ronch can help us out. i get out at 7 tonight from work so let me know

i just need the parts and ill go and take them to someone who can install it on my car
