Ive been drawing pretty much my whole life...won a few awards back in the days and shit nothing crazy...bc
i ended up slowing down during high school when I didnt get accepted into The New World School of Arts after middle school....
Basically my portfolio was whack ( bc barely collected work like a dumbass)

But since around middle school I always dreamed of having a specialty tuning shop bc I was inspired by none other than RE Amemiya.
Damn brings back memories.

Anyway I did some cartoon style AE86 drawings with some aero I designed...
nothing fancy just for shits and giggles... Cars r like 5" wide so not very detailed...its pretty hard to draw in details when a drawing isnt very big.


This red colored one is the first one I drew real quick bc I was just messing around trying to see what I wanted my coupe to look like with different parts and shit
I sketched up this one of the top of my head and I like the angle so I drew the rest using this one as a the 1 to copy..u can say the rest r replicas

The liftback above has rear wide body quarter panels
Some I drew with intercoolers...those r 3SGTE powered lol
The others r NA setups FTW

this coupe has a mild drift aero kit,,,smooth liped staggered wheels..in white.
I think they look good against the duck shit green color haha

Sleek style...dark tints and clean aero not too agressive....
something like u would find in the MSC series in Japan....

this 1 is probably my favorite type. I designed it as a track only AE86. Similiar to the Tech Arts and CBY race-spec hachis. I designed a wide-body over front over fenders combined with the aero kit and agressive rear bolt-on fender flares. Staggered 3 piece racing wheels, cage and CF GT wing. Vented FRP hood, trunk and doors. And ofc its RHD lol I painted the wheel spokes red bc I felt it gave it a race feel to the overall appearance of the car
and made it stand out.


Im working on a few other models and ill post them as a finish them by tmw.

I named this wide-body street spec bc of the wide-body front and rear fenders and
bc the aero and overall look of the car is very simple...hence the street spec name.
The yellow with the lavender wheel centers IMO look pretty nice...the wheels are a lil weird and thats bc theyre like a cross spoke style wheels similiar to the mesh type but diffeent they look like webs in a way...and I colored the front fogs pink bc at night I can imagine this hachi with pink fogs would be pretty dope lol...

I can do realistic drawings...I can do many types of drawing styles...but thats not what I wanted to do here.
I made them slightly cartoonish bc of their size...and I like the exageration
with cartoon style...like the wheels and shit...its more fumn for me to stretch out the concept more.

dude they all look sick its still no to late for you to go back ofcourse i dont know where you are college or whatever but im sure if its cheap classes at dade or a baller azz school in downtown you can do it if those are quick sketches then you got talent man maby you can be one of those people who design kits and stuff for demo cars for like veilside you never know man just gotta try

but yeah back to the pics id take anyone of those designs not favoring the wing but i like that one i think yellow may be one of my fav cause fogs and color combination and how clean it is

on that note: Its really a damn shame that there r not many aero kits available for the AE86 besides the japanese designs.
I havent known of any US company decided to create new AE86 kits or
at leat a front bumper....

I know people would buy it, besides if you sell your prototypes to some AE86 drifters they would advertise your kits....*cough*Never Lift*cough*. dude you know how much art school is???? is simple to say it, some schools will teach you shit and take your money... schools like AI dont even ask you for you portfolio (what kind of art school wont ask for your portfolio).. they are there for your money... real school like savanah, and the NY school of art will make you send in all your best work.... those are some very cool sketches, very nicely done.
