HOLY SH*T!!!!! glad to see american muscle beat gtr's record... i dont like the new GTR anyways, its not inline 6 so its gay. its over rated id rather take a r33 any day.

also if anyone noticed...the ZR-1 was driven by a GM employee...not a pro race car driver (im assuming the development engineer at GM isnt a pro driver) wasnt the GTR driven by a pro?

i honestly like kinds of cars but Corvette cant be compared to the GT-R.
Especially price-wise.
The GT-R is a btter deal and better as a daily IMO

the Zr1 is a limited run tho isnt it....? like 600 units or something..any launch control?

ehh no not that...jus never really liked it..it looks cool and all but ehh !
Not really since the track is huge and there are long straights for the extra 200hp (almost) to make a big difference. Its all relative.
Transverse leaf springs is not truck suspension, trucks have longetudenal leaf springs, if you saw a Corvettes suspension you would understand just how cool it really is. They don't even use metal leaf springs they are a fiber kevlar composite spring and there is only one leaf. its actually a double wishbone control arm setup.
