finding a trust DD muffler?

Im not looking to get a whole exhaust, as most of you know I dont drive a 240. But I am looking to see if I can get my hands on a trust DD muffler itself. I saw the way the SOHC 240 on here sounds. And I want to mimic the exhaust.

I dont know where to find one or I would... i already have an exhaust bent up to the point where the muffler would go.

Is there any other 1 in 2 out mufflers using the same chamber design?
 
Isnt the DD a single in dual out? Thats not dual canister...

I know borla and flows make a single in dual out, but Im trying to get as close to the DD as I can. That is if i cant find just a muffler.

Ask for Jay, they take orders for anthing. But it's an old exhaust, they might be getting hard to find. If your using it to fab, I would ask them for any application to make it easier/cheaper to find. Since it sounds like you just want one to chop up.
 
.....all it is is a y pipe dude...your trying to be authentic when your not...

its a dual canister...its gonna be harder adapting the trust DD cus its a wierd uncommon flange where the muffler bolts up to the exhuast...

Whats a Y pipe? Its a muffler. I cant run a completely straight exhaust as my bedless truck with 3" of frame clearance grabs enough cop attention. And I own a welder and know how to weld, so I wouldnt be using flanges.

I think you guys are mis understanding what Im saying.

I want to mimic the sound of the DD on my truck (ka24e.) So Im looking for the muffler itself. The exhaust I can bend and weld myself. Its just the fact I want to get it close to the sound of the DD.

Sorry if I confused anyone.
