The comparison in diameter/height between these two 15" tires
is incredible...

165 holy shit thats gonna be stretched like freshmen on prom night LMAO

damn i thought you were going to put those 165's on a 10".

i wanted to see that.

lmao unfortunately THAT is impossible.
Theres no way in hell to stretch a 165-45 on a 10" wide wheel.
This a pic of a 165-45 on a 15X8.....

yeah bro it looks mad unsafe and i feel for whoever is doing that stretch cause if a tire lets go somebodys gonna die

hey i have a question.

do curtain tires stretch differently then others?
cuz ive seen tires look completely different when they are stretched.

Its doable...And mine are only riding up front.
Imagine this cat has those bitches in the rear AND drifting!

MOUNTAIN_MAN: YES! The style of the wheel dish and lip curvature has alot to do with how the bead sits on the wheel.
From experience, DR wheels are stretch friendly lol

AND the style of the tire...well actually the style of the tire sidewall...
The pirellis the guy is using on that AE86 have a different sidewall design than my tires...
His stretch slightly more aggresively... thats why it looks so dangerous lol....

A few other examples of daily driven cars with 165-45s on 15X8s-------

whats up with all the vdubs LMAO couldn't come up with gangster cars with tire stretchs

LOL i love Vdubs and Bimmers with sik offsets and wheels fitments!
The reason for the VWs is that only the primered sedan is from the US
the rest from Europe.
The 165-45 is a European and Japan only tire which is why its extremely difficult to find
a variety of pics of different cars....

**BTW SAS, I have some sikass ganster ass cars with evil tire stretches but that would be off my topic ...
maybe we should start a Stretched Tire thread?

thanks for the info.

i tried to put 215/45 on to 18x9.5j mesh rims with a lip and the tire guy said that it didnt work. i also remember my friend having 33rs with 215/45's federals and they didnt look as stretched as my korean off brand 215/45's on the same rim.

No problem homie.
Yeah, there r many factors to take into consideration when
trying to figure out different tire stretches.
Brands, wheels, lip guards, etc etc....

Its even more of a bitch when figuring out clearance, offsets, and trying to achieve the "look'
u want.
Too much "poke", or not enough...maybe need spacers, or rolling, pulling, overfenders, flares, extended studs, etc etc...
Buncha bullshit...but worth it in the end;)
