Boso style AE86

holy shit!!

195/45 on a 9" rim?!?!?!??!
ive seen 215/40 on a 9" rim but the tire was crazy streched to me.

anyone got pictures? ive gotta see this.

Yea diamond wheels are cheap, I looked into them for the bimmer a little while ago. But then you pick one up and you realize why they are cheap. They are like 40lb's each on just a 15" wheel because they are solid steel. If you don't care about that then go for it because thats the only downfall.

FlyinFINN: Yes, unfortunately ur absolutely right about that homie.
Weight. lol
And although looks can be decieveing weight is a big factor in wheels.
U run with light weight wheels and the difference is amazing...and its like adding a few hp to ur car. In reality its GAINING back the hp u lose from putting on heavy wheels.
This im sure u know already.
For me its gonna be a small sacrifice...and im willing to live with it lol.
For autoX or w/e I always have my OE wheels or super light 14" Supras:bigthumbu

Mountain_Man : TE72 liftback like my uncles, 15X9 wrapped with a 195-45-15 strecthed.

**BTW FlyinFINN...suprisingly...I have a secret Bimmer fetish. Its crazy lol
Hopefully I can build something like this one day.:bigthumbu

Nah that will probly make them break faster, More force needed to get them moving

the diamond wheels may be heavy but don't forget the added benefit of impact absorption.
tire held the bead and i drove away on that shit!
extra 4 lbs was worth it here.

hey i found that thread about your rim size and stuff but none of the pics work. is there a way you can pm a site with the pics or some thing?

I think its "I made a couple million dollas last yeur dealin Whey".... like whey protein I guess?

Negative David,
thats not my coupe.
But that is a JDM Zenki rear bumper.
I never intended people to believe thats my AE86 coupe.
I apologize for any confusion.
It was merely used as an example.;)

That coupe has my same color, but those
wheels are Diamond Racing 13X10 -19 in flat black.
No flares, just OE fenders pulled like mad.

My Coupe will have a much more aggressive wheel setup and flared. If u can believe that lol
Chrome dishes and black centers. Well actually I will be able to paint my centers any color I want and
change it up whenever.
:D

I think there are not many crazy Japanese styled AE86s here in the US,
very few in Cali and Hawaii. But not down here in SFL.
So Ive always wanted to build one.
Finally after 6 AE86s, Im fortunate to now be able to.

Stay tuned guys!!!:bigthumbu

fuck tha haterz...everyone so in tuned to play it safe...do you bro....cant wait to see it..
