So ive decided to go KA-T on my daily S14...now before anyone says anything THIS IS NOT A SR VS KA-T THREAD! If i wanted to hear arguments ill search google and read the million or so threads of ppl talking about motors theyve never owned or ran. Now I made this thread to get advice and info from ppl who have actually ran a KA-T and have experience with them, not ppl who "heard" about this or that about KA-Ts. So yeah my KA has 75k miles on it and its my daily driver, no problems other than maybe a faulty 02 sensor, I drive it about 40 miles everyday...heres what im thinking
off the top of my head
Garret t3/t04e (any other turbo recommendations are welcome)
SR 370 injectors
Tial 38mm wastegate (8psi maybe? nothing crazy)
FMIC w/ 2.5" piping
JWT ECU tune (any other cheaper alternatives?)
Walboro pump
HKS SSQ
not sure what kind of manifold to get but i guess that'll depend on the turbo i finally go with
among other things
So yeah im on a budget and have only so much money to spend and its a daily so nothing crazy ill be happy with maybe 230-260whp
So can the KA-T with this mild setup get me to school and work reliably too?
Also if anyone is selling anything that i listed for my kit, let me know!
