hey all im in need of rucas, and i went on ebay and there are some that are 65$ shipped and some 150$ shiped but they all look the same crapy shit.
can i get some info on what to look for. like wich ones are no good and such? cus i dont wana pay 350$ for cusco ones., thanks!:bigthumbu

well i got the wicked ones and they look pretty damn good to me. But i think that you answered your own question that you where not going to get the 350 dollar ones so you might as well just pick one of the other 2.

I got the wicked ones on my car, and if you compare them to cuscos or kazama, they're knock offs off them, but you get what you pay for. They havn't broke on me yet. If you wanna spend money on good quality without the cuscos price. SPL all the way. splparts.com

No, they're $180 and they're out of stock for at least another month.

Good companies to buy RUCA's from:
SPL, Battle Version, Peak Performance, Parts Shop Max, Cusco, Kazama, Ikeya Formula, NAMs, Silk Road, Yanack, ect

What do those all have in common? They're not ebay shit.

You can either buy chinese ebay parts or buy quality parts. When it comes to the quality parts, you really can't go wrong with any of them. As far as shops are concerned; Phase2motortrend, SPL Parts, and A-spec have never done me dirty and I've bought a lot of crap from all those guys.

I have been running the ctune racing rods for the past 3 years... no problems... go with spl, ctune, Bversion, Peak performance

SPL and Megan are good budget for sure.. Id like to try Project Silvia just for informational purposes.. I loved my Sustec Tanabe RUCAS...big ballerrrr...now Im running SPL. :)

I would never classify SPL and Megan in the same category. SPL's materials are superior as is their build quality. Megans are Chinese parts with a label. SPL's are NAMs (nagisa auto).

Serg when it comes to suspension components never cheap out, exhaust and bodykits maybe but shit to make the car run appropriately to its max, then always go for the parts that have the best R&D and have been around like forever, i would def. recommend battle version, if cusco is outta yer range, i've heard nothing but good reviews, esp. from the toyota crowd

Curse of the Rear Upper Control arms...

I just found out SPL parts is no longer carrying Cusco RUCA's.

So that's like my 3rd RUCA order screwed up.

BUT they're going to be selling their own made in house RUCA's for S14's soon - angled like the Parts Shop Max arms and v2 SPL toe arms for slammed cars but with the same diameter tubing as Cusco arms. Cost is supposed to be around $230.

what i like about spl is you can return your old versions for newer version parts, that is customer service to the fullest for real +1

Yes that is very cool of them. The fact that they even listen to customers and make changes to their parts to suit people's needs would be enough for most companies - taking back the old part as credit towards the new one is just bad ass.
