When is the next practice at countyline

My car doesnt have ABS. I dont want the brakes to lock find myself understeering outside the track. What you suggest?

I drift like this guy....very poorly =( but yea Im looking at all the vids a county line and rwdrift uses the same "line" I scketched out this early. Do they let walk the track?

so the only difference between an event and a practice day is spectators? will the events be open to anyone who wants to participate or invite only? And if it is invite only...who do i need to brown-nose? J/K. The events are judged? Just curious.

Those events arent invite only. Street drifting is invite only. I was wondering the same thing about judging

As long as they are open to people like me who just want to practice and have fun thats fine with me. Drifting is the most fun i've had behind the wheel of a car. I've only did 1 morosso event back in november, and can't wait for the next chance. Countyline is closer to me then morosso although they're having an event in february...might have to make it out there...but i DEFINATELY want to give countyline a shot...those video's look fun. :bigthumbu

thats pretty messed up bro, calling this guys skill level poor.... You dont have to follow the same line as erick, unless you have the same skill level as erick same setup as erick, same drift style as erick etc. there is only one line and that line you would have to figure it out yourself, it all depends on your skill level, your drift style, your setup etc...
The guy on the video was doing pretty good, his steering work needs some improvement, but who doesnt???

Your right :( sorry. Actually that's the line I came up w/ after a rough sketch of the track. It just so happens the eric took the same line so it proves the my sketch is pretty much accurate of what I thought of. Who knows I may spin out on the 1st corner

the way i see it is pretty simple, get your basic skills down first, your ebrake and steering timing down, your weight transfer and then when you are pretty comfortable with your drifts, then you move on to thinking what line you are going to take.. i seen beginners go to an event and they try to follow the line a more expirience guy is running, they try to mimic it, but they tend to fail and spin out.... if you go to a drift even thinking OMG i am going to spin out, oh no people are going to laugh at me, OH i suck... then drifting is not for you. You must first have fun and enjoy what you are doing regardless of what people say... we all sucked at one time( i still suck) and i started to get better when i decided to just have fun.... ask any of the guys to whom i have given a ride, i am all about fun... ask MIAS13 (emil) about the nail the cone technique....

THE CONE!!!!!. i swear we gotta get that thing.
at the countyline event i was nervous in the beginning i kept worrying about what people were gonna say. i kept losing it spininng. after like 6 or 7 runs i just jacked the music all the way up and went all out and had fun and thats where my best runs came out. ask rob and guille how much better it got after i stopped caring and just had fun
