This is to prevent a driver putting his hands out the window like on the July 31st event.

Even so, if a driver chrashes and then the car catches on fire and drive is knocked out and the windows are up and doors are lock, then your ****ed. Thats why the windows are suppose to be down, so you can safely pull the driver out. Whether or not people put thier hands out, you shouldn make people keep thier windows up. If someone puts thier hands out, kick them out, simple solution.

I'm not arguing with you Matt. I'm not saying I agree. But rules are there to be enforced.

Maybe they'll change it by the event, but who knows.

What you fail to realize is that, often times, the cause of said crash directly corresponds with one placing their hand out the window. Insurance companies believe in a "proactive" approach as opposed to your "reactive" suggestion. a "windows up" policy necessitates driver concentration and will eliminate the need/ability to show off. Eliminating as many avenues for danger and risk is the reason for the implementation of this rule. The rule is undoubtedly being enacted by the insurance company/lot owner and should not be argued. Ter-tech will have all necessary staff/equitment to ensure the safety of both the spectators and the drivers.

Everyone come out and make this a badass event as usual. I hope i have a car to drive or i will be bribeing one of you to let me drive yours!!!

Good point Tyler but I thought drifting was about showing off? Since when was this a major racing technique used in other forms of motorsports? LOL I understand why that rule would be implemented, but at the same time I see why Zenki SX is making his point also. The point is this if you can barely drift your car then you have no reason to show off your hands free techniques. This goes For Fujiwara Bunta too and his cigarette lighting drift technique! Guys that rule is there to make sure they can keep this insurance company happy which right now is the biggest hurdle in setting up a drifting event. So for now that rule is a good one.

im looking for a 50 a day deal. remember when thhe events use to be like 40-50$?

Insurance hasnt been nice to us...... it's getting more expensive to slide.

i wanna kno why the hell do u have to pay the insurance company in the first place?
Did anyone ever get money back from the insurance companies when they crashed?
Does the track get money from them if WE crash?

dont understand this conspiracy. lol

it's for Liability insurance which will protect the track and the organizer from any kind of lawsuits. It is required by law that you have to have a liability insurance when you organize an event.

The insurance isn't for you to make claims...that's what your personal insurance is for. The insurance is to protect the event organizers and track owners from getting sued by stupid americans.

can i still have that 50 for one day pass? please? pleeeease???? i havent driven in 7 months!

Perfect. Absolutley. :D I am glad pre-reg has been extended; I have a question for Ter-Tech.... Is there a fee for spectators?

I have a car but its not driftable..... 2900lbs automatic with 110 HP open diff car that cant even do a burnout doesnt sound ideal but the gymkahna thing sounds fun ar you guys still doing that?

yes for th gymkhana and spectator fee is $5 as usual. one day pre regs are not allowed but we can make one drive one day and the other person drivers the second day. No swapping drivers during the same day. so all you have to do is to find someone who wants drive or pre reg. just for one day.

Someone with access to the front page might want to change it..... you guys changed the event date but the pre-reg date is still in Halloween.
