"Yeah, I drift too" stories

I worked in Carmax a while back and whenever younger guys would come in to buy a car, I would talk about drifting and try to get them to buy a Miata or at least take out a 350Z for a test drive, but since the majority of them couldn't drive stick, then it was seat time for me. So one day a guy shows up and he's into Homos, I mean Hondas and he's wants to drift an S2000. I figure is doable since it's a Front engine/Rear wheel drive setup and I take out a manual one for a spin. Anyhow, I'm not too familiar with hondas so I didn't know there was a rev limiter when you first turn it on and that this motherfucker is front heavy like no other. We did the test drive and I made the tires chirp once or twice, but on the last turn, I spun out and as the car did what it wanted, I started trying to figure out what I would do in jail to keep from being raped. Luckily the car didn't hit anything and I managed to convince the guy I did that on purpose to turn around. He bought a Jetta.

Always wanted to try an s2k. and an MR2. Maybe I'll just go mega-baller and rip it in an NSX, but I don't wanna show off lmao

s2000's are actually slightly rear weight bias. you must have been turning very hard to get it to understeer.

His name is Greg and his JDMUps.com sticker has been riding on my car since October last year lol. He has dreams of a series, I told him how ours was going so far, he is trying to figure it out though.
 
i spin out and slide through yards and mess up in all ways all the time. anyone who has seen me has good stories of me making a jackass of myself, and i do something im proud of from time to time... but im learning, and having a blast, thats the point right? slide for fun

Relax cool guy. Obviously, unlike you, I didn't drift the placenta out of my mom's uterus, so little by little I learn about it.

1. I don't like hondas. My first build ever was crashed and totaled by a honda so it's a personal thing.
2. I didn't know honda's so I didn't know that. But now I do so yeah.
3. That's how you learn, by being unsuccessful and trying again
4. See number 2.
