Edit. I'm soooooooooo happy, this kid from the autotrader told me he would trade me his 1969 Honda S2000 he said that I could do super drifto with this D1 special honda. He said it has and airplaine quadturbo engine with NOS. He said he drifted a corner going 197mph. Oh and he said it has a duperdrift button that when you press it the car super drifts itself. He also said that the car is sponserd by TRD and NISMO  WOW!!! He said all I have to do is trade him my S13.5 + give him $7,000 I think it's a great trade for me.What do you think Kenrik???? Or anyone????

bro that car is easily worth $8k and a bj so your getting a hell of a deal there.

i think your engine overheated

FUUUUCCCKKK YYYOOOOUUU :(

The car runs and idles if you empty all the water out... WTF? but it is making a squeaking sound if you give it gas which I think may be bearings... ?? maybe it is fixable, maybe not.. don't know yet i'm going to strip it down and see what I got.. untill then i'm stuck in orlando :(

squeeking sound, i love generic descriptions where over the internet we are to give advise to what the problem may be. im guessing its proportional to rpm changes, anything else you notice?

The squeak (that is exactly what it is.. imagine a squaking sound associated with metal... like a fence hinge) I heard this sound and it's what made me pull of in the first place.

Well lets see... the engine is loosing a good amount of compression into the coolant system because you see puffs of air comming out ( coolant system is now empty )

the water pump is out and you can hear the bearing on it is shot when you spin it.

The engine will start and run and idle stedy but there is the squeaking sound that comes and goes (it is pretty loud) Engine revs freely.. like there was nothing wrong except it shoots air out the coolant system (blow HG) and the squeaking sound.

I have not run the engine for more then 15 seconds due to coolant/water/oil

I checked the oil and it does seem like it might have water in it.

Pull the engine do Cometic gasket with ARP studs and replace the waterpump, sparkplugs and bearings??

or just drop in a new 100k KA..

both options cost about the same...

water in the the oil is obviously a side effect of having a blown headgasket.

you should always have oil in the pan when even cranking the engine.... it wont do anything drastic immediatly but think about how much wear you just put on metal surfaces rubbing togeather with out lubrication. someone is gonna toss a rod down the road.

do not let milky oil (water that has been mixed in the oil by running the engine) sit in the pan..... if you have any water in the pan that is mixed with the oil its going to start rusting anything it touches. So if you plan on keeping this engine or bottomend i would highly suggest you drain the oil out of it tonight. maybe run a quart through to rinse any extra garbage out too.

squeeking could be many different things, i wouldnt try to salvage any parts of this engine. Over heating the engine expands the internals so the tolerences are tighter and if they are too tight it can cause improper lubrication and it will increase wear and ect you know the deal and you will have another hole in your engine. Also when an engine is overheated the extra heat in the head puts a severe beating on the valve spring's temper. <--- makes them weaker. warped head, everything else. get another engine. although wouldnt it be cool you put this one back togeather and becuase the v springs have been toasty a few times you float at 6900 and shatter a piston with your intake valve?

Ok another engine it is.... Dam none are really for sale up here, the cheapest I found was $300 for a engine with 100k and the guy (Orlando Powerline) did not give me compression numbers even though I asked for them.. I emailed him again specificly asking for numbers but he has not gotten back to me yet.
