wtf are these "leg" things on the test pipe for?

wtf, so you can currently get a high flow cat for $150, does this mean when this emissions stuff happens they will skyrocket in price?
 
aftermarket cats have far less precious metals in them. cats at a dealership cost like a thousand dollars new anyway.

from what ive heard the emissions that were getting arent gonna be anything like cali, just some basic shit

but if they start making it a bitch to have swapped/modified cars, there IS a website/company advertised on Sport Compact Car Magazine that fights against those laws to keep car tuners happy

yes sema fights these laws but if your smart you do like they do in cali and keep stock shit to toss back on the car for testing then put the cool shit back on

from what ive been told it should be every two years so take a week and put your shit back to as stock as possible or find a ghetto shop and pay them dough and they will do it shit happens in cali all the time
 
at least by 2012 my 89 coupe i hope wont need emissions..
and the funny thing bout that ebay cat cause i got 1..
it says honda civic on the box
 
You will have the same emissions as NC has. Its easy to pass, anything OBD1 will only be a safety emissions check, (lights, horns, tires, cat, window tint). You can have whatever exhaust and whatever engine you want. OBD2 will be checked with the scanner and as along as no codes are thrown you will pass. Its easy and not hard at all to get around. None of this throw stock parts back on like in cali.
