Windshield wipers!!! AGHHH!

So I'm driving in this hurricane yerterday and little do you know my wipers go handicap. The passenger side one works fine but the driver side doesn't work. When I get home I fold them up and turn the wipers on and both work but when pressed against the windshield only one does (as if theirs not ebough power to lift the driver side). What can this be? Do I need a new windshield wiper motor?

u may need the wiper amp..its the green box on dr side of engine bay next to slave cylinder
