wtf im running 16x7 +22 with a 225/50/16 michelin that buldge out and no rubbing with 2.5 camber.

Seriously run 16x8+0 with a 205/50/16 and you wont have to roll unless you run no camber if you run 2.5 negative you will be fine, this thread got out of hand for a stupid question.

15x8 with a 205/40/15 tire WHAT THE FUCK, you guys do know our stock size is 205/60/15, civics run 205/40/17. With a 205/40/15 the frame will be on the ground. 205/50/16 is already alittle small.
 
dude i have sportmax 002's 16x8 0 offset with 45 profile tires in it fits perfect and i have it pretty low, my fenders are not rolled an it never rubs unless i hit a pretty big bump. if u want it to never rub no matter what u hit just tap the inside of the fenders in a lil with a hammer so that metal lip dont stick out an ur golden it wont hurt your car i promise, lol

trust me it will work i have proof cuz thats what i have

Ok just get some 002's some falken 512s in 195/45 front and 205/40 rear.... you will be fine... I think Ive said that before though >_<
 
tires are 225/45/16, i got tien flex coilovers and it still can go lower if i want but the way i have my motor mounts on my rb the oilpan it way to low so i cant go any lower cuz of that, not the rims. i already ate a hole im one oilpan

Your an idiot the 195/45/15-16 will be taller then the rear 205/40/15-16 ither way on a S13 205/40/15-16 is WAY to fucking small!! stop saying that, it will just look fucking retarded.

as far as a 195/45 being taller than a 205/40, the 205/40 is 3.228" tall the 195/40 is 3.454" tall... thats 2/10's of an inch.. Tell me you will notice 2/10s of an inch...

^I never said a 205 wont fit on a 8inch wide or even 15 inch wide wheels, what I stated was a 195/45/15-16 tire WILL be taller then 205/40/15-16, which I was CORRECT, now having a fucking TALLER tire in the front is totally stupid, might as well run a 205 width tire FRONT AND REAR to keep the chassis balanced, and also so the front tire wont look differently stretched. So since you fucking know it all about "tires" and are a fucking LUBBIE, here are the mesurements for our S13 STOCK OEM tire size.

The CORRECT way to mesure a tires HEIGHT is NOT by just the sidewall height but of the OVERALL diameter!!

stock oem tire size of S13 BASE model: (SE/LE models are 205/60/15)
195/60/15 24.21inches
205/40/15 21.46inches
^thats very close to 3 damn inches just running this tire size will lower the vehicle almost 3 inches = more wheel gap. minus an inch if running 16s, YOU WILL be able to tell the difference with those two tire sizes!!

Now back to what you stated before about there is barely any difference between 195/45/15 to 205/40/15, you stated its only .2 of an inch taller? Think again, lets look at the numbers considering you only took the side wall size which is only "HALF" of the over-all height of the tire. The exact height difference of both tires is acctually .45 tenths of an inch rounded up to a half of an inch, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO TELL THE DIFFERENCE!! Thank you come again.

P.S. Just becuase you mount tires all day in a shop dose not mean you know everything!!!

he is right mang. i went to 205/65 15 in my rear and 195/60 15 in the front but before i put them on i stood them next to each other and the 65 was almost 1/4"-1/2" taller than the 60. also on a side note you should stay as close as possible to the OEM overall wheel diameter otherwise it throws your speedo off.

you are also right but thats 2/10" on each side so in total its 2/5" taller.

it does but you can always get it readjusted. Bigger overall wheel diameters make your speedo seems as if you are moving slower while smaller wheels do the opposite
