that cage looks like he re-used another cage. thats why spots are ground down and dont match up correctly, it wasnt cut to fit that exact cage.

Nah just horrible fab work. Some of the notches look worse than they probably were because when they cut it from the floor they went through the brace tubes at an angle. brace tubes should never be that close to the floor plates anyway, it's impossible to weld around them fully.
