whats up Folks,
i am stuck on a decision. i am trying to replace my wheel hub and bearing assembly. the thing is that i found the wheel hub and bearing assembly for my car which has non-ABS, but the ones with ABS is cheaper. would it make a difference if i was to buy and install the wheel hub and bearing assembly with ABS even though i dont have ABS?

i would say if the part numbers are different, you might be better off getting the correct one. some cars abs vs non-abs spindles are different diameters and could end up with un-usable stuff.

how much of a difference is the cost?

25$ is a bit of a difference. why not call a mazda dealer and ask if there would be an issue. or maybe get on a miata board and search/post up.

i was think about calling, but with your suggestion i guess ill just go ahead and do it. ill let you all know what they say.

ok, according to mazda service department they wheel hub assembly with abs will fit on my car even if i dont have abs. they guy told me the only difference is that there is a pressure ring or spring that is used on the bearings with the abs. so it looks like i will be getting the ones with abs. i still want to check one more person to make sure that it will not give me any problems in the long run.
