Just shows how reliable Honda engines are even if the bodies/drivetrain are on the crappy side, I bet you he was going to do an engine swap and just wanted to have some fun beforehand.
Now thats a free flowing exhaust....the flames are pimp....when we swaped my KA from my white hatch tot he black one when we first started it up it was poping flames there the egr tubing fomr the manifold its was awesome....i wonder why it dosnt pop flames now....backpressure? Maybe since the stock cat- is the only emission component i still have on my car? soon thats going to change.
I AM NOT A HONDA KINDA GUY, BUT I MUST SAY THAT DAMN ENGINE COULD HOLD SOME STRESS, I MEAN MY BROTHER HYDRO-LOCKED HIS 03 HONDA EP (SI) BY JUST GOING OVER A PUDDLE OF WATER FOR MAYBE WHAT 2.5 SECONDS AT MOST. I GUESS ALL I COULD SAY TO THAT IS "THEY DON'T BUILD THEM LIKE THEY USED TO". I REALLY DONT GET IT, BUT I WISH MY KA COULD HOLD HALF OF THAT.
dem D series engines could last a long *** time....we've had so many hondas...about 14....I'm a nissan guy but i got respect for any honda becuz i know wut they are capable of...extremely reliable
